The Mafia will shoot anything that moves! The intergalactic menace of the Black Circle will kill anyone without remorse! And the police have their backs against the wall! Enter Green Arrow and Green Lantern, just in time to find Connor and Black Canary caught in the crossfire! Meanwhile, something's gone sour within the Black Circle…as if this intergalactic organization of crime weren't already rotten enough!

Green Arrow and Green Lantern are questioning a Black Circle goon but get little information out of him, other then the fact that his group has splintered off from the Black Circle and is trying to claim Earth. Then it comes over the police radio there is a shoot out between the Mafia of Star City and the aliens and the police are caught in the middle.

Green Arrow and Green Lantern show up in time to see Connor Hawke and Black Canary get things under control.

When Kyle finds Amon Sur he witnesses him kill an alien in cold blood. When the rest of the group confront him he goes on a rant about Kyle being weak. But before he can say much more a Black Circle ship shows up and teleports Amon Sur away.

The heroes barely make it out of the way when the ship opens fire on them and warps away.

Kyle uses his ring to teleport him and green Arrow aboard the ship, but they find themselves trapped and quickly become knocked out by Amon Sur who works for the Black Circle.
